He is an infinite source, He cannot ever run dry. And since we have become one with Him [1 Cor 6:17 But he being joined to the Lord is one spirit] you cannot really tell who is who. We are ONE with Christ! We are not independent of God, it is He that lives through us. [Col 2:6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him], in other words just like we first received Him, so we continue to walk in the power He has given us from that day on. The more we are able to peel away the layers of self, the more we are able to expose Christ in us to the world. But He IS ALREADY inside us in fullness, we don't need to ask Him for more!! [Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me]. It is not our patience, our power, our ability to forgive, but HIS! If we've been given everything we need, if we've been all the gifts, power, boldness or whatever then wouldn't we be completely independent from God, asif we almost dont need Him. We needed Him that ONE time when we got saved, but since then im on my own with all the things God has graciously given me. Maybe i am not understanding this yet, and I will chew on it for a while, but this is what I am hearing: - God has given me the strength, wisdom, knowledge, guts, passion, etc to get through this molestation of my daughter, rape, murder in the family, so i don't need him to give me anything else.I can do this on my own, because God has already given me everything I need. and this is what I feel in my heart - there is no way I can live another day without God giving me the patience, wisdom, strength, boldness to move forward. Gods response was "What Richard What?" This does two things, first as we all agree, this places the responsibility squarely on our shoulders and 2ndly, it divides the wheat from the chaff. By that I mean, those who are simply content to go to church because "Its the right thing to do" instead of "being equipped to do the work of the ministry," Mat.10:8 realise that defeat or success in this earth falls directly upon us, not on God. We have "All" the gifts of the spirit by the Holy Spirit living in us. In Jesus dwells all the Godhead bodily and as Jesus lives in us by the Holy Spirit, "In us lives all the Godhead bodily." I have no excuse or blame to place on others or God but upon my self, where I see any kind of lack or the operation of God in my life. "In Christ, WE HAVE ALL ALREADY ARRIVED!" I need to continue to live FROM victory, not strive TOWARDS victory! Blame-shifting our failures on to God is not the way to go! It leads to frustration and more disappointment. I want to encourage people who are stepping out and praying for people to just keep at it! If you see 1 out of 10 people healed in a month, then just up your numbers and pray for 100 in a month. You should see 10 healings that month and that will encourage you much more than 1. The more healings you start to see, the more you will want to pray. The more you pray for more people the more healings you will see.
